Project Overview

The purpose of this project is to design and construct a functional heat pipe, a device for passively transferring heat from one place to another. This project will consist of multiple phases, and will serve as a model for the design process on a short timescale. A project proposal outlining the design will be completed, containing the details and specifications of the heat pipe, as well as the end goals of the project and a schedule for moving forward. Following the proposal, work will begin on the heat pipe itself, and this blog will be updated with its progress at regular intervals. Within a number of weeks, a functional heat pipe will have been constructed and tested, and a reflective presentation on the project will be created and given.
